Београд би, уколико одлучи да се угрожени пензионери месечно помажу са 4.000 динара, морао да издвоји 30 милиона евра на годишњем нивоу. То је новац који би био паметно уложен и ово ће бити нешто о чему ћемо разговарати приликом формирања следеће градске власти.
Да ли ће Град наставити да и даље посвећује пажњу старијим суграђанима и у 2012. години?
– Тренутно имамо 20 клубова за дружење, излазак и разне активности. Отворили смо и дневни центар за боравак најстаријих. Такође, сви пензионери имају право бесплатног коришћења градских библиотека. Око 1.500 најстаријих грађана је обучено за рад на компјутеру. На Старом ДИФ-у постоји бесплатна рекреација за најстарије. И јако је важно напоменути да сви старији од 65 година данас имају право бесплатног коришћења градског превоза. Наставићемо у том смеру.
Да ли је осигуран рад народних кухиња у 2012. години?
– Тренутно имамо око 12.000 корисника и тај број се повећава, али у сваком тренутку смо спремни да то адекватно испратимо. Обећао сам да нико неће и нико не сме бити гладан. За 2012. је издвојено око 600 милиона динара, али сума ће се вероватно кориговати ребалансом буџета. Не треба заборавити да је Београд једини град у Србији који сам финансира њихов рад.
Шта ће се учинити како би се побољшао положај особа са инвалидитетом?
– За ову годину кључан је концепт социјалног предузетништва. Поред јавног и реалног, јако је важан и овај сектор. Градоначелник и ја имамо пуну сагласност у вези са овим питањем и први пројекат овог типа биће покренут овог месеца. У питању је „Лола предузетништво“, где имамо и штампарију и дораду и где ћемо сада отворити погон за производњу смрзнутог теста. Запослиће се око 30 особа са инвалидитетом, и то на пословима помоћника пекара и помоћника посластичара. Идеја нам је да у наредном периоду социјално предузетништво заузме бар један одсто становништва, што би било око 70.000 људи. Тренутно их је око 4.000, који су запослени у 44 предузећа.
