То што се у Србији данас на све стране могу видети латинични натписи фирми и локала и што и неке чисто државне фирме (Лутрија Србије или Телеком Србија, например) оглашавају на латиници, доказ је потпуног одсуства национално одговорне политике. И за то ни у ком случају не треба тражити кривца у некоме са стране, коме је стало да протежира латинично писмо. И нипошто се не смеју прихватати тезе како је латинично писмо туђе и непријатељско. ПУПС се управо залаже за равноправност употребе оба писма, али и наглашава потребу да та равноправност буде и на делу, што данас, нажалост, није случај.
