Поводом извештаја Државне ревизорске институције, у којем је доведена у питање регуларност исплате новчане помоћи најугроженијим категоријама пензионера у Београду, ПУПС истиче да уважава налазе ревизора, али да ће наставити да истрајава да се ова помоћ неометано исплаћује и убудуће.

Потпредседник ПУПС Милан Кркобабић подсећа да је исплата ове помоћи била један од услова за учешће ПУПС у градској власти.

„Управо нашим залагањем 65.000 најугроженијих пензионера, који имају пензије мање од 16.000 динара, добија ову новчану помоћ. Та помоћ се исплаћује откако смо ушли у градску власт. Упркос финансијским тешкоћама, перманентно смо истрајавали да та средства буду уредно исплаћивана. Чак смо инсистирали да и они који из ових или оних разлога нису добили помоћ да се накнадано пријаве и помоћ је исплаћена и њима“.

Кркобабић поручује да ће ПУПС истрајати у томе да ова помоћ ничим не буде угрожена, а после предстојећих избора инсистираће да се помоћ најугроженијим пензионерима исплаћује не само у Београду, већ и на територији целе Србије.
